Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. The actor began his career as a character actor in television series, like Opposite sex in 2000. In 2005, following appearances in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007) The actor was recognized for playing the Marvel Comics character, The Human Torch. Evans also appeared in films based on comics as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame in 2019 earned him even more acceptance. His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the highest paid actors.
