Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco artist. From her teens she has been a participant in pop flamenco and music. Also, she has explored various genres, including hip-hop soul, Trap and. Her voice is described by no less a talent than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to those of the past. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The set was released on March 20, 2022 after performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to receive both awards.
